Orders
Any customer who visits your site can place an order on
your site after registering. The order goes
through a life cycle until completion, this
life cycle is called phases in this
application.
There are four phases for any order.
Pending
When any order is posted is goes to pending phase, pending
phase mean that this order is waiting for
site administrator review, once site
administrator view the order details, the
order is moved to next ‘In Progress’ phase.
In Progress
This phase is very important since in this phase the order
goes through its development procedure, site
administrator have list of all in progress
orders, he chooses any order, create its
digitizing file, and send to customer.
During this phase if some information is
required pertaining to the order admin
places an info request for customer, as soon
as admin places an info request for customer
about any order , that order automatically
goes to a phase called ‘Information
Required’.
Information Required
Order will be in this phase until or unless customer
responses to the info request made by site
administrator. Once customer replies to the
info request, the phase of the order is
automatically changed back to In Progress.
This circle can continue unless admin has
all information required to complete the
order.
Complete
When the digitizing file is created by admin, he can send
it the customer using a special module in
this application. When admin select any
order for completion he can send completed
design file to customer, when admin does
that, the order automatically mark itself as
completed and appeared in customer panel as
a downloadable item. This phase is
‘Complete’ phase. Completed orders which are
old are automatically deleted from the
system, depending upon the preferences
chooses by customer.

Quotes
A customer can also place a quote for any
order, before placing an actual order. The
quote works the same as orders but in a
different way. There are phases associated
with the quotes.
Pending
If user want to have a quote for any order, he can place a
quote , when a quote is placed it goes to
pending phase, this phase indicates that the
quote has not been yet reviewed by admin,
once admin view the quote, its phase changes
to ‘In Progress’.
In Progress
In this phase the quote goes through its assessment
procedure, site administrator have list of
all in progress quotes, he chooses any
quote, create its digitizing sample if
needed, write description about it , and
send it to customer along with the estimated
stitches / price for the order. During this
phase if some information is required
pertaining to the quote admin places an info
request for customer, as soon as admin
places an info request for customer about
any quote , that quote automatically goes to
a phase called ‘Information Required’.
Information Required
Quotes will be in this phase until or unless customer
responses to the info request made by site
administrator. Once customer replies to the
info request, the phase of the quote is
automatically changed back to In Progress.
Complete
When customer have received response from the admin for his
quote, this quote is marked as ‘Complete’ by
admin, its now up to customer to change that
quote to order. If customer changes any
completed quote to order, this quote is
re-submitted as new order and track back
information for the order is also added to
the completed quote.
3.
Edit Orders
If customer wanted to place any new order,
with reference to any old completed order,
he places an ‘Edit Order’ for that. Admin
treats edit orders separately, also these
edit orders have all four phases that have
been mentioned above. And its order
processing system works that same way as
normal orders.
